What is hemolysis?

Hemolysis is the rupturing of red blood cells. That blood comes to the surface and makes the new impressions appear initially, much darker. As it heals it begins to settle, the darkness fades away and the impressions lighten up significantly.
Each session in an SMP treatment goes through this same process. Every visit we asses and analyze how much pigment retained and then continue building, where necessary - ultimately creating a unified, dense illusion.
